First and foremost, Happy New Year to all of our loyal friends and clientèle. By now, I'm sure everyone has gotten the hang of the Precision Online Experience, and hopefully we can also use this medium to further educate the masses on the various happenings in the marine industry.
The first major development this new year is Raymarine's new 3 Year Warranty Program. As some of you may already know, Raymarine was purchased in 2010 by FLIR, the thermal image outfit responsible for replacing the flashlight. Since then, there's been a major shakeup in Raymarine policy that is actually very positive news for both end-users and Certified Dealers such as Precision Marine. To summarize, when a Certified Dealer performs an installation and the system is registered, all components are entitled to a 3 Year Parts and On-Board Service Warranty. Not too shabby.
